Brighton played the last 30 minutes with 10 men after Carlos Baleba received a red card. Bournemouth’s David Brooks scored in injury time, but it wasn’t enough to catch up.
Arsenal ended their winless streak by beating Nottingham Forest 3-0. Bukayo Saka, Thomas Partey, and Ethan Nwaneri scored the goals. Forest couldn’t create many chances or get a shot on target. Arsenal boss Arteta made key changes to the lineup that worked well.
Aston Villa and Crystal Place played out 2 all draw, while Everton and Brentford shared the spoil in a goalless draw. A resurgent Wolves trashed Fulham from a goal down to win by 1-4 goals. At the same time, the defending champions fell to a home trashing of 0-4 by an amazing and unpredictable Tottenham team led by Magic Kulusevski and maverick Madison.
Liverpool extended their run with a 2:3 win from Sala’s led attack, while Ruben Amorem settled for a 1:1 draw with Ipswich in his first-leg match.
