Liverpool’s manager, Arne Slot, continued his unbeaten start to the season as his team easily overcame their hosts. Erik Ten Hag’s team, on the other hand, had many of the same dismal traits from the previous campaign.   Casemiro was the cause of the first two goals

With a dominant 3-0 victory over their host Manchester United.  Díaz’s brace and Mohamed Salah did the job for the new manager.  The win further cemented Liverpool’s position as one of the top contenders in the Premier League this season

After a close loss to Brighton the previous week, Ten Hag was jeered when he made second-half substitutes to spur a comeback.

Within the opening ten minutes, Trent Alexander-Arnold’s goal was disallowed for offside. However, Diaz twice turned in passes from Salah as Liverpool took advantage of two careless mistakes made by the seasoned Casemiro.
