George Tawlon Manneh Oppong Ousman Weah (born October 1, 1966) Weah is the first African former professional footballer to become a head of state, and he is the only African Ballon d’Or and FIFA World Player of the Year winner in history, having won both in 1995. He earned three African Footballer of the Year awards and is regarded as one of the best attackers ever.
George Weah started his career in Liberia and spent 14 years playing for clubs in France, Italy, and England. Arsène Wenger took him to Europe for the first time in 1988, when he signed with Monaco. Weah joined Paris Saint-Germain in 1992, winning Division 1 in 1994 and being the top scorer in the 1994-95 UEFA Champions League. He signed with AC Milan in 1995, where he played four brilliant seasons, winning the Serie A twice. He moved to the Premier League near the conclusion of his career and played for Chelsea and Manchester City, winning the FA Cup with the former, before returning to France to play for Marseille in 2001. Roger Miller
Albert Roger Miller (born May 20, 1952), sometimes known as Roger Milla, is a former Cameroonian professional footballer who played forward. He was one among the first African players to achieve worldwide stardom. He participated in three World Cups with the Cameroon national team.
He attained international prominence at the age of 38, when most forwards had retired, by scoring four goals in the 1990 FIFA World Cup, making him the oldest goal-scorer in World Cup history. He helped Cameroon become the first African team to reach the World Cup’s quarterfinals. Four years later, at the age of 42, Milla scored against Russia in the 1994 FIFA World Cup, breaking his record as the oldest goalscorer in the tournament.
Milla would frequently celebrate goals by sprinting to the corner flag and executing a lambada-style dance. Pelé included him to his FIFA 100 list of the world’s finest living players in 2004.
Milla was crowned Africa’s best player in the preceding 50 years by the Confederation of African Football in 2007. At the time of his retirement, he was recognized as the all-time leading African goal scorer in FIFA World Cup finals, with five goals, a record that was ultimately eclipsed by Ghana’s Asamoah Gyan.

Didier Drogba
Didier Yves Drogba Tébily is an Ivorian former professional football striker. He is the all-time leading scorer and former Ivory Coast national team captain. He is best remembered for his time at Chelsea, where he has scored more goals than any other foreign player and is presently the club’s fourth-highest goal scorer. In a survey of 20,000 supporters conducted by Chelsea Magazine in 2012, Drogba was crowned Chelsea’s greatest-ever player, and in 2020, Chelsea fans voted him to the Chelsea team of the 2010-2020 decade.

Samuel Eto’o Fils (born March 10, 1981) is a Cameroonian football administrator and former player who currently serves as president of the Cameroonian Football Federation. He earned the African Player of the Year award a record four times: in 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2010.
Eto’o, a gifted young player, joined Real Madrid when he was just 16. Due to competition in his position from more experienced players, he had multiple loan periods before joining Mallorca in 2000, when he set a club record with 70 goals. His outstanding form led him to Barcelona in 2004, where he scored 130 goals in five seasons and set the record for most appearances by an African player in La Liga.
He won La Liga three times and was a key member of the Barcelona attack that won the 2006 UEFA Champions League Final, with Eto’o scoring in the final, as well as a front three of Lionel Messi and Thierry Henry that won the 2009 UEFA Champions League Final, with Eto’o scoring again in the final.
He is the second player in history to score in both UEFA Champions League finals. At Barcelona, Eto’o came in third place for the FIFA World Player of the Year in 2005 and was twice named to the FIFA FIFPro World XI, in 2005 and 2006.

Nwankwo Kanu (born August 1, 1976) is a Nigerian former professional footballer who played forward. He represented the Nigeria national team and played for Iwuanyanwu Nationale in Nigeria, Ajax in the Netherlands, Inter Milan in Italy, and Arsenal, West Bromwich Albion, and Portsmouth in England. He is regarded as one of the best African players ever. He was a member of Arsenal’s ‘Invincibles’ and was rated one of the club’s greatest players ever.

Augustine Azuka “Jay-Jay” Okocha (born 14 August 1973) is a Nigerian former professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder. He won 73 caps for the Nigeria national team between 1993 and 2006, scoring 14 goals, and was a member of three FIFA World Cup squads. He is regarded as one of the greatest football players from Africa.
Okocha was also a significant player for Nigeria. He played for the Super Eagles in three World Cups (1994, 1998 & 2002) and helped them win the African Cup 1994.
He played across multiple leagues, starting his career at Enugu Rangers in the Nigerian Professional Football League before moving to Borussia Neunkirchen in the Oberliga Südwest, Germany’s third division, in July 1990. Yaya Toure
